Season’s Greetings with Donut Connection

The holidays are typically a busy time of year. Travel, family dinners, turkey trots, and more. The only thing busier may be this holiday themed quilt.

I went through a number of pantographs when getting started with this quilt, but each felt a bit too busy with this particular quilt. Packed with patterns and colors, adding a swirly, floral, or wandering pantograph just added too much extra detail.

Donut Connection turned out to be the perfect fit for this flimsy. The simplicity of donut connection combined with the patterns and colors made for a shining combination.
